Navin Kumar Vatsa (b. 1972) is a professional photographer from Muzaffarpur, Bihar and is currently based out of Delhi, India. With a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, he served in various reputed academic institutions as teaching faculty and academic administrator for over 16 years, before turning to photography.


A passionate artist since childhood, his early interests in painting and sketching greatly shaped his career as a photographer. Over the past decade, his body of work has been recognized and awarded by platforms and institutions like National Geographic, Sony, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA), Penguin Publications, and the Government of Delhi.


He is a two-time HIPA winner, a contributing photographer for National Geographic’s YourShot community and a Photography Mentor for Tamron India. As a mentor, he has organized and led 20+ intensive workshops and 50+ lectures/phototalks across different Indian cities.
